Property Preservation Case Study 

Problem: A global life sciences company decided to consolidate its operations and employees, freeing up a 660,000 square-foot facility to be sold. This property was not located near their consolidated operations, therefore, the oversight and maintenance of the facility created a potential for deferred maintenance and liability risk for the firm. They also needed to keep the property marketable. 

Solution: ABM developed a customized, cost-effective maintenance plan for the customer’s vacant building with periodic inspections and preventative and repair services to maintain the facility until sale. These services included debris removal, landscape maintenance and perimeter snow removal per local ordinance, inspection and testing of backflow preventer and fire suppression systems, pest/rodent control, winterization, and more.
