General Maintenance Technician

ABM provides maintenance technicians specialized in supporting the unique needs of distributionand logistics environments, including today’s automated facilities. Our teams help keep criticaldistribution systems running at peak efficiency.

  • • Cleaning out belly pans and netting
  • • Adjusting photo eye sensors
  • • Swapping out conveyance rollers
  • • Changing bands and belts on conveyance
  • • Swapping out programmable logiccontrollers (PLCs)
  • • Installing/repairing machine guarding
  • • Maintaining automated storage and retrieval systems
  • • Torquing and adjusting to desired specifications

Safety training requirements are tailored to the work environment and client needs. Training includes but is not limited to:

  • Lockout/tagout (LOTO)
  • Pinch points
  • Working in confined spaces
  • Stored energy
  • Energy isolation
